Police hunt armed robbers
Police are investigating the holdup in the southern suburbs which occurred at about 1am today,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
The vehicle went into the drive through of the fast food outlet on Main South Road Hackham and the driver ordered food but at the payment window produced a firearm and demanded cash,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
He was wearing a plain black beanie and a black jacket, the car was described as being a beige or brown fourdoor sedan. Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact BankSA Crime Stoppers on 1800 33 000.
A second armed robbery took place about 90 minutes later when a man struck at a service station in the northern suburbs and threatened staff with a knife.
At around 2.30 this morning the man entered the servo on Park Terrace,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Salisbury and demanded money and cigarettes.
Police said the bandit fled in what has been described as blue Holden Commodore with an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
The offender is described as Caucasian,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], about 25 years old, standing 182 cm tall and of medium build with with short brown hair. He was wearing a dark blue Nike jumper with a hood and a white bandana.
A short time later a blue Holden Commodore was found burnt out in a car park on Waterloo Corner Road at Paralowie,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. Police are investigating if this car was the one involved in the robbers getaway.
