Bisping threw his name into the mix after defeating Jason "Mayhem" Miller on Saturday night during the finale of The Ultimate Fighter in a fight Henderson was not impressed with, tweeting that both coaches looked more like contestants than coaches during the fight.
Henderson is looking for his second shot at Silva. The two faced off at UFC 82 in 2008,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], unifying the UFC and Pride middleweight titles. Henderson got the better of Silva in the first round before seeming to run out of gas and submit to a rear naked choke in the second round.
Since then, Henderson has gone 71 in his last eight fights,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], capturing the Strikeforce light heavyweight championship and knocking out Fedor Emelianenko along the way, so he feels the time is right for his rematch with "The Spider."
For now,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it looks like Henderson has accepted the fact he will not be the next in line for the title shot, but his recent win over Shogun Hua in arguably the greatest fight in UFC history puts him right at the top of the UFC light heavyweight division as well. He will be keeping a close eye on Saturday night's main event at UFC 140 between Jon Jones and Lyoto Machida.
