HANCOCK COUNTY -- Crews discontinued the search for the missing 29-year-old Houma, La., man just before 5 p.m. Tuesday.
With temperatures expected to once again dip into the 40s,Prada Sunglasses, Hancock County Chief Deputy Don Bass was hopeful crews could find Bryan Ashley Hulse Jr. before sunset.
Search crews had scoured the Stennis Space Center's north buffer zone area until almost 2 a.m,FALL WINTER CLOTHING. Tuesday.
"It's awful cold at night," Bass said. "It was in the 30s last night and we don't know how much clothes he has on or if he has any clothes with him.
"The articles (of clothes) that we found indicate he might not have much clothes, so I'm sure it's taking a toll on him with it being cold and wet …. It's got to be taking a toll on him, so we're hopeful we can bring closure to this."
Pending the discovery of new evidence or calls, Bass said no further organized search is planned. He said deputies will increase patrols in the area of Texas Flat Road and Flat Top Road.
Search teams that found clothing were able to identify the articles as Hulse's, thanks to an identification card found in one of the items. Searchers also saw several barefoot tracks most of the morning. Officers believe Hulse is disoriented and wandering through the woods near where his abandoned vehicle was found in the Santa Rosa community. The search has exhausted all regional resources in an effort to found Hulse, who was last seen attempting to enter Stennis Space Center's north gate about 6:15 p.m. Sunday.
A Department of Homeland Security helicopter and a Harrison County Sheriff's Office helicopter were sent to fly over the area.
Hulse's family last saw him about 4 p.m,ADIDAS BASKETBALL SHOES. Saturday. The search in Hancock County began Monday.
Bass said Hulse had left home in his wife's car,Alexander Wang Bags, which was found in the Santa Rosa community.
More than 12 deputies from St. Tammany Parish arrived about 10 a.m. to join the search, bringing search dogs. They were joined by Gulf Coast Search & Rescue teams on horseback, all-terrain vehicles from several agencies, Hancock and Harrison counties' sheriff's offices and American Medical Response.
A Hancock County investigator confirmed a bag of unknown drugs was found in the abandoned car. |
