15 jobs created by three new shops at Gretna Gateway,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]
Luxury beauty product brand Molton Brown, fragrance specialist The Perfume Shop and gift,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], furniture and home accessories store The Gift Company are the latest new arrivals at the Gretna.
Five others stores have already opened this year. They are: Puma, Clarks Shoes,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Berghaus, the Body Shop and Pagazzi Lighting,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], creating 40 new jobs between them.
The Outlet Village is also continuing to report excellent sales performances with growth in visitor numbers and sales well ahead of UK and Scottish averages. In July, August and September, sales were up seven,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], eight and 12 per cent respectively,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], compared to levels of between 0 and two per cent on the High Street. Visitor numbers are also on the rise.
Peter Gardner, general manager at Gretna Gateway, said: today economic climate, we know that people want their money to go even further and we believe that our increased visitor numbers and even better sales figures are proof that our allyearround mix of quality and value is what more and more people are looking for.
