Atlanta Falcons introduce throwback uniforms for 2009 season,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]

The throwbacks feature a black jersey with white numbers,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], red trim,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and a white Falcon crest on the sleeves. The pants are white with a red stripe,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], bordered by two black stripes. The vintage red helmet features a black Falcon crest logo and two white stripes and one black stripe down the middle of the helmet.
The stripe on the helmet also has a gold trim,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], which the team says was meant to acknowledge the colors of rival Atlanta-area schools,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], University of Georgia and Georgia Tech. The gold trim was later removed from the helmet.
Fans in attendance of the Week 2,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], September 20 game will receive a commemorative flag courtesy of Ticketmaster.
