I'm typically what people would call a jetsetter. There was once I had to transit from Dallas to LA for 3 hours before catching another international flight to Hong Kong (and back) in 2 days! Just for a crucial business meeting. Although I like the duty travel, trust me, flying for 20 hours straight can really be quite draining. Especially if you usually take the economy class. The long hours. And not to mention the never-ending hissing of the aircraft engines. It just wears you out sometimes.
Looking at the situation, it's probably destined that I'll have to bear [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] with the noise pollution on the plane. As long as I'm still holding this job, that is. But a good friend's advice altered all that. He advocated getting a set of Bose Quiet Comfort noise cancelling headphones on flight. It wasn't cheap but well, for the pleasure of [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] the flying experience I go through now, it was definitely deserving of the price!
Noise Cancelling Headphones - What's That?
Noise cancelling headphones are simply audio phones that use technology to reduce ambient noise through the use of active noise control. Mikes in the [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] noise canceling [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] headphones emits acoustic wave to combat noise whenever they detect its presence.
One concern is that an over the headphone works much more effectively than the in-ear smaller earpieces. That probably means, people who like to listen to the music while jogging or exercising may need to get another set of [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] regular phones from [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] the ones they bring onflight. But is the hassle worth it? Definitely!
How It Benefits Jetsetters Like You
In my viewpoint, the headphones is a definitely lifesaver! Not only wasI able to enjoy a more comforting travelling experience, I get to listen to my lovely music [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] without fighting with the noise from the engines. This is actually a very major concern, as I tend to combat [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] the noise by bringing up the music's volume. I wasn't sure what was the repercussions of that on my hearing but since getting the noise cancelling headphones, my inclination to increase the volume had been greatly reduced.
Besides that, on certain flights which allow travellers to watch movies or play video games, I find myself easily engaged in the plot or exhilaration [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] without the annoying hissing from the aircraft [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] engine. As a matter of fact, the headphones [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] was [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] so good in cutting back clatter that there were times when the flight attendent had to tap on my shoulder to get my attention. Ha!
Frankly, if you ask me whether there's anything I couldn't leave home without, yes, you've guessed it right! Other than my luggage & travelling documents, it has to be my noise cancelling headphones!
