Our parents do so much for us,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], sacrificing their comfort for making our lives easy. My parents have been role models for me in my life. I look up to them. No matter what situation I am stuck in,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], they are my Pillars of Strength. This year they were to celebrate their 25th Wedding Anniversary. As a token of my heartfelt appreciation,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I decided to throw them a party in a great resort.
Taking a day's off is one difficult mountain to scale. We were looking for quality resorts,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], something that offered class and also a great rare find. A resort or retreat nestled in the laps of the mountains with waterfalls and wonderful sceneries to offer. My father being a nature freak,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], we had to look for a venue that was naturally abundant with greenery and/or waterfalls. We were looking for a venue that was grand yet fit our budget. I wanted to make this one special for my parents,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], creating a lifetime memory without burning a hole in my own pocket.
That's when we stumbled upon Igatpuri. I had never thought of this place as picnic spot but it did offer great family resorts in Igatpuri. There are breathtaking mountain ranges and waterfalls. It is a sight for sore eyes. Being close to the city was another benefit to our plan, considering most of our relatives resided there. Ideal family resorts are available in this beautiful picnic spot.
Our search for luxury resorts bought us to one very beautiful resort. The place was just perfect. Elegant stay facilities and not too pricy, plus,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], offering a variety of adventure activities to do like rappelling and Burma bridge. All this got us pretty excited. Immediately we booked reservations and informed our families and friends of the same.The date of the function arrived pretty soon. We left for the retreat taking my parents along. Unaware that I had invited the whole clan,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], my parents had a pleasant surprise seeing all our extended family and close friends there. It had so much more to offer then we had perceived. To have function in a great luxury resort i might not have been in my parent's wildest dreams, but indeed it was grand and fun. The adventure activities though physically challenging for all, were also so much fun. We just had a great time and my parents too thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I truly recommend anyone looking out for weekend getaways to give Igatpuri a try.
