New sounds

A Lot is an expression of gratitude for the loyal support he has received since making his home in Ireland after settling here from Louisiana.

The Merle Haggard/Bonnie Owens composition,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I Started Loving You Again one of Merle most enduring and requested songs, is featured in a duet with Lorraine McDonald.
Gonna Rain and Black Train are two modern country tracks on the album, while To You Next To Me and Friend In Need also appear.
It shaping up to be a hectic year for Robert who travels to the US in April to lead a large group of fans and friends on a special country tour,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
The group will visit Arkansas,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Memphis,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Nashville, Virginia and Gatlinburg on Robert The Line Johnny Cash Tribute Tour. This trip is organised in association with Driftaway Travel and is already sold out.

There was a big response to the opening dance last Friday night week,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], which featured Gary Gamble and Elaine Boyle and their band from up north.
Eamonn McCann,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], a class country act, is one of a select number of Irish country artists to have been chosen for the of the Week slot on BBC Radio 2. Like many more country enthusiasts, he also has a great love for traditional music,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and he lists Dolores Keane from Caherlistrane as one of his favourite singers.
A superb country artist, Eamonn has released some outstanding country albums over the years. Dancing is from 10.45pm to 12.45am in the Valkenburg Hotel this Friday night. Next week, young Shane Downey and his band from Portumna will provide the music at the Ballinrobe venue.
The Moe Bandy bandwagon rolls into town
AMERICAN singer Moe Bandy has developed a great fondness for these shores in recent years. This month sees Moe return for a series of dates,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], mainly in the Ulster region.
He begins his tour in the Waterfront Hall in Belfast on Friday, March 14,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], with special guests Anthony McBrien,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Boxcar Brian and Carrie and Leanne Benn.
Two Donegal shows are included on the tour: Moe will be in the Allingham Arms in Bundoran on Sunday afternoon,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], March 16, from 2.30pm to 5.30pm.
He will be accompanied by special guests Boxcar Brian and Steve Farlow.
Moe will then play in the Mount Errigal in Letterkenny on Tuesday,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], March 18,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], where he will be joined by Robert Mizzell, Shaun Loughrey, Boxcar Brian and Country Harmony.
The Standhouse House in The Curragh, Co Kildare,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], will then host a concert and dance on Sunday, March 22. Moe guests on that occasion will be Brian Coll and The Murphys.
