NASHVILLE,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Tenn. Sens. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) and Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) announced Monday they're co-sponsoring legislation made to help protect children who have life-threatening food allergies.
They joined new bands star Trace Adkins and representatives from the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network in drawing focus on the medical problem,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. Secretary of Education - to develop voluntary guidelines for schools to prevent exposure to food allergens and ensure a prompt response when a student suffers a life-threatening anaphylactic reaction,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
The legislation would offer for grants to local educational agencies to help all of them with the adoption and implementation of food hypersensitivity management guidelines in K-12 public schools,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
