The veteran right-hander walked one and struck out six.Tyler Clippard pitched a scoreless eighth and Rafael Soriano picked up his 26th save as the Nationals won a second straight after dropping the opener of their four-game series against New York.Bryce Harper launched a two-run homer while Ian Desmond and Denard Span each added a solo shot for Washington.Mets starter Dillon Gee (7-8) surrendered four runs on six hits in seven innings.David Wright socked a bases-empty homer for New York. |
