World golf rankings led by Tiger Woods, Adam Scott, Phil Mickelson
VIRGINIA WATER, England, Oct. 14 () -- Jimmy Walker won his first PGA title and David Lynn got his first European Tour championship in nine years, results that boost both in the world golf rankings.Walker finished two strokes ahead of Vijay Singh in winning the Fry.com Open, the first event on the PGA Tour's 2014 calendar. That moves him up 21 spots to 45th in the world rankings.Lynn, who won the KLM Open in August 2004, fired an 8-under-par 63 Sunday in edging Justin Walters by one stroke at the European Tour's Portugal Masters. That leaves him in the 34th spot in the world rankings. He was 52nd last week.The Top 10 is unchanged from last week.
