Copperfield tweets about 'scary' plane landing in Peoria
PEORIA, Ill., March 4 () -- Famed magician David Copperfield said via Twitter his plane made an emergency landing in Peoria, Ill.,Christian Louboutin Clearance, during a Las Vegas-New York flight Monday morning."Emergency landing," he tweeted. "Everyone is ok. Emergency landing in Peoria, Illinois. So scary... Happy to be on the ground and safe."The illusionist,Christian Louboutin Sale, who served as a consultant and has a cameo in the upcoming magic-themed comedy film "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone," was heading to New York in a small private plane for an interview on the "Today" show, the Chicago Tribune said."We were 37,000 feet in the air and I recorded [the strange noise] because it was lasting for a long time," Copperfield told "Today" via Skype from Peoria. "I heard this sound [crackling,] and it wouldn't stop. I felt kind of freaked out and they told us we have to it go back for our descent. We were going in a spiral with G force, and we finally got to the ground... and it turned out there was snow all around."The Tribune said it is unclear what the problem was and quoted officials as saying the incident was classified as a diversion as opposed to an emergency landing. |
