The company claims the shoe has the first biodegradable midsole in running shoe history. Other materials found in the shoe are either biodegradable,<a href="http://www.massimosurdo.it/public/Guccibagsoutlet.htm" target="_blank" class="postlink">Gucci 247279 F4CLG 9662</a>, recycled and/or nontoxic.
