TAYLORSVILLE, Utah, hollister outlet, April 30 () -- A Taylorsville, Utah, soccer referee remained hospitalized in critical condition, four days after he was punched by a player, police said. The unidentified referee, 46, was punched in the face Saturday on the soccer field of Eisenhower Junior High school in Taylorsville, near Salt Lake City, by an unidentified 17-year-old player, Unified Police Lt. Justin Hoyal said, adding the player was arrested Monday on suspicion of aggravated assault, and the incident remains under investigation. The Salt Lake County district attorney's office will review the case to decide if the alleged assailant can be tried as an adult or as a juvenile, Hoyal said. The referee was initially thought to have suffered only minor injuries, The Salt Lake Tribune reported Tuesday. He later lost consciousness, and doctors discovered he had sustained more serious injuries, Hoyal said.
