The Kirkland Downtown Association is hosting a "Fall Ball" event on October 11th on the Argosy MV Kirkland. You can also pick them up at the KDA office,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], The Grape Choice or Gunnar Nordstrom's Gallery.
This important fundraiser can help offer the beautiful downtown Kirkland flowerpots that are all so near and dear to our hearts,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and also the Kirkland Downtown Association that helps make sure they are possible. The KDA works hard each year to boost funds to keep the flowers blooming and the pots maintained throughout every season. Roughly 95 pots and 30 hanging baskets within the downtown core. Each pot costs about $250 in maintenance,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but only a part of this really is included in grants in the City of Kirkland. The KDA must from the difference through their fundraising efforts.
Can't reach the autumn Ball? This year you can "own" your personal pot for any $250 sponsorship! Bidding will take place on the evening from the cruise,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], however anyone can sponsor a pot for the 2008-2009 season.
