Philadelphia Phillies lose Ryan Howard to torn meniscus, out 6-8 weeks
PHILADELPHIA, July 8 () -- Philadelphia Phillies slugger Ryan Howard needs knee surgery and will be out six to eight weeks, the team announced Monday. The Philadelphia first baseman had been dealing with knee soreness for several weeks before the diagnosis.
