A stronger dollar and slide in equity markets pressures grain prices
CHICAGO, Feb. 25 () -- Grains closed mostly lower Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade with the dollar index higher and equities lower on Wall Street.Corn was off 1 to up 3 1/4; soybeans were off 7 to off 10; wheat was off 13 1/4 to off 15 3/4 and oats were off 9 3/4 to off 12 1/2.Export inspections at 11.56 million bushes for the week were deemed bearish for corn in Chicago. Wheat traded lower with export inspections shy of expectations at 21.17 million bushels.
