Adelaide 36ers import Julius Hodge quits club
"I've been brought up in business with your word is your word so I'm significantly disappointed,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
"I met with Julius yesterday and we went through any concerns he had. We shook hands and it was all resolved.

Instead Hodge went to ground,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], refusing to answer phone calls as the club waited to see what had occurred.
Hodge was advised by his agent not to play,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
"It's bitterly disappointing from my point of view,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]," Sixers coach Scott Ninnis said,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Hodge having already missed practice sessions and been late for others due to the ongoing payment issue.
"The guys did a sensational job last night,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. They didn't know at six o'clock whether he'd be playing,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]."
Hodge's pattern of training tardiness and missing sessions altogether had been wearing thin on the playing group which had requested he inform them if he was going to be missing practices,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
"It's almost a relief we don't have to deal with this anymore on a day-to-day basis,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]," Ninnis said.
The coach added Hodge's public persona of the hard-working import was not always consistent with his behaviour,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
"The players feel pretty let down,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]," 36ers captain Brett Maher said.
"He came in with great fanfare but he didn't fulfill his end of the bargain,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]."
Hodge, who played last year as a replacement for Mike Chappell,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], spent the off-season pursuing his NBA dream with the New Jersey Nets.
The 36ers cut under-performing Mark Tyndale as Hodge became available and Adelaide quickly pounced,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. The 36ers were 5-3 in the eight games he played prior to last night's win which brought the 36ers' record to 11-11.
